DEFEND MI RIGHTS

The ban on flavored vape products in Michigan is government overreach and a clear infringement on the rights of Michigan adults to decide what they buy and consume. Don’t let that happen in Michigan!

about the coalition

On September 4, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced her intent to ban flavored vaping products in the state of Michigan…and, within hours, the DEFEND MI RIGHTS Coalition was formed. Obviously, any business could fight the Michigan flavor ban individually but DEFEND MI RIGHTS believes that there is strength in numbers and far more can be done to fight by pooling resources together.

Coalition members include Mister-E-Liquid, Wild Bill’s Tobacco, Kalamazoo Vapor Shop, Ecig Outlet, 906 Vapor, Joost Vapor, Vapor Shoppe, Wild Wild West Tobacco, and many others. DEFEND MI RIGHTS has hired the best-of-the-best in terms of attorneys, litigators, and lobbyists. We also have constant representation in Lansing meeting daily with legislators requesting that action be taken to stop this ban. [MORE INFO]

CONTRIBUTE

One of the ways in which Defend MI Rights is fighting for your rights as a vaper is by filing a lawsuit against the Michigan state government, requesting an injunction against the governor’s emergency order. Lawsuits like this are expensive, though, and we need your help to continue the fight!

Please give anything you can to help us fight this unconstitutional and ill-advised flavor ban. All of the money you give will go directly to our fight for vaper’s rights, and the immediate overturn of this unlawful ban.

And if you’re thinking, “This isn’t my state, this isn’t my fight,” please remember that what’s happening here will happen in other states next! If we don’t win this fight, here and now, you’re going to have to fight it where you are. Give now, and save having to fight later.

I'm 7 years smoke free, and not a single health problem. On the contrary, when I was smoking I had several cases of pneumonia, bronchitis, and respiratory infections. Since I made the switch, I've had zero cases. Thank you for fighting the good fight. Sorry I can't afford to donate more at this time.
